I was unsure about this purchase initially as we were very happy with our previous Bissel but it was battery powered and like all battery powered vacuums after almost 3 years its battery life started to deplete!
So opted to go for the corded option but chose this vacuum rather dubiously as we have a predominantly wood and tile flooring (minus carpet in bedrooms) and a number of reviews had commented how the brush spat the dirt along the tiles/wood flooring... was delighted when it arrived to find the brush feature was able to be switched on/off and that the manual recommended only using this feature for carpeted areas! Other than that, it has all the features I love about the Bissel products - multiple adapters (i.e. pet hair turbo tool), excellent suction, a light to see where you are vacuuming and light and manoeuvrable.
