Subject to these conditions, BISSELL will repair or replace (with new or re manufactured components or products), at BISSELL’s option, free of charge from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, for two years any defective or malfunctioning part due to manufacturer defect. This warranty does not apply to fans or routine maintenance or consumable components such as filters, belts, brush rolls, etc., damage or malfunction caused by negligence, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair, or any other use not in accordance with the user’s guide. I had previously been loaned a different model Bissell and was so impressed with the result I decided to buy my own.
I moved into an apartment that had been previously owned and even though I had been told that all carpets had been professionally cleaned I decided to do my own carpet clean. The water in the pick-up tank was absolutely black! It makes me cringe when I think of living on such a filthy carpet so am very glad I bought the Bissell. And so much for professional cleaning - a waste of money!

It's a great carpet cleaner with upholstery attachment hose and heads.
Very efficient and effective compared to brands that you hire.
Easy to assemble and use.
Difficult cleaning out head. Doesn't come with sections that detach like previous or other models.
Have to turn the entire machine upside down, water leaking on the floor and flush it out over the sink. Inconvenient in that regard but all in all I love Bissel Carpet Cleaners and highly recommend everyone has one.
Don't use on mattresses though. All machines unless designed for mattresses actually increase stains. So, you keep working it trying to get them out only for them to get worse and spread further.
Use as intended for carpets, couches, car interiors and it's awesome 👌🏻

My floors have shag-pile carpeting and the areas that I have used it on have all come up appreciably cleaner.
I am waiting for drier and warmer days to carry out a more extensive clean of the heavier soiled areas.

Does the carpet cleaning job well.
Minus half a star for the hose and tool, for some reason when the hose attachment is being used it takes a while to produce liquid. I have stopped and started the machine, check the hose etc. etc.. Eventually it starts working. It may be something I am doing wrong though!
Minus another half star - I sent a question via the Bissell website about an accessory and never received a response. Which is not a good indication for product support.
