Can I use CrossWave HF3 as a dry vacuum?

No. CrossWave HF3 automatically vacuums and mops simultaneously, and does not have a vacuum-only mode. CrossWave models without automatic fluid delivery include CrossWave HydroSteam, CrossWave Pet, and CrossWave Max Turbo.

Can I use CrossWave HF3 on carpets or rugs?

No. CrossWave HF3 is for hard floor cleaning only. CrossWave models with Area Rug Mode include CrossWave HydroSteam, CrossWave Pet, and CrossWave Max Turbo.

How do I remove the handle of my CrossWave HF3?

Remove the clean water tank from your machine. You will then see a round rubber circle. Please press that in with your finger, or a pen, and lift the handle off at the same time.

How do I clean my BISSELL CrossWave brush roll?

You can clean the Crosswave brush roll by activating the automatic Self-Clean Cycle while docked on the charging base.

Your brush may also be cleaned by hand by removing it from the machine and squeezing it while under running water.

Please refer to your User Guide for thorough instructions on cleaning your CrossWave brush roll.

Why is the clean tank of my CrossWave leaking or not sitting into the machine properly?

Ensure you are only putting lukewarm tap water (not hot or boiling) in the tank along with CrossWave compatible formula. Failing to do so can warp your tank, and erode the tank seals. If you need a new tank, you can order them from the BISSELL website.

How often do I need to change my CrossWave filter?

To maintain best cleaning performance, we recommend to change the CrossWave filter every 3-4 months. Filters are available at leading electrical retailers, and through our website.

What is the difference between the CrossWave models?

The functions, included accessories, warranty, suction motor strength, and other features can differ between models. To find the right machine for you, use our website's compare function to compare up to three products at a time. Look for the 'Compare' or 'Compare this product' buttons.
