    A very good machine

    We had the older model probably 20 years or more and loved it. The battery life was really good compared with other types for example we could vacuum the whole house on one charge. Some complained about how noisy it was but I bought it for cleaning not entertainment. The new model is in a class of its own. It is quieter for those that worry but the refinements have made it a perfect machine.

    Great vacuum

    As l am getting on in years, a lightweight vacuum that needs less amounts of times to charge and less amounts of 'empty's' required, is ideal for me. We have two large dogs that shed continuously. We have carpet throughout. The Bissell AirRam has exceeded my expectations and l don't even consider using my Dyson anymore. I'm very happy.

    Latest AIRAM 2167 could have been much more.

    I have mixed feelings on the new model AirRam. I was so happy with the previous model 1047F (which is still working) but the bottom rollers have worn out and I could not wait to try the new model. Comparison is with old unit.

    Positives: Easy to push forward. Easier to clean filter.

    Negatives: Louder annoying high pitched sound that I need to use ear muffs. Prefer the power button mounted higher as per old unit.

    Makes screeching noise when pulling backwards on my timber laminate floor but less noticeable on tiles.

    I notice the new motor is still 22V and 100W but why is the sound so different from the previous model?

    I was recommended to purchase and boy am I glad I did. Excellent cleaning tool, the light shows up what didn't get done properly with my other cleaners. I love it. Carpets clean, slate clean, tiles clean. What else can one ask for.
