Product Guide: CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™

Product Guide: CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™

For busy households that demand powerful cleaning without compromise, BISSELL CrossWave OmniForce EdgeFind delivers twice the clean in one machine, with the option to vacuum and mop at the same time or simply power through dry messes alone. Designed to handle everyday messes with speed, efficiency and precision, this cordless multi-surface cleaner helps you maintain a clean home while saving time and effort.

As part of the new collection of BISSELL products in 2026, it builds on the trusted CrossWave range with enhanced performance. It offers ZeroGap™ Technology for edge cleaning, FurFinder™ Headlights to reveal pet hair you didn’t know was there, and up to 45 minutes of cordless runtime (may vary based on mode and usage). With hygienic Two-Tank Technology, tangle-free brush rolls, and simple self-cleaning, OmniForce™ EdgeFind™ is designed to tackle both wet and dry messes in one confident pass, whether it’s muddy paw prints, dust trails or scattered crumbs.

We know premium cordless cleaners need to deliver real cleaning results. In this product guide, we’ll walk you through how CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™ works, how to use it effectively, and why it’s built to replace separate vacuuming and mopping steps.

Key Features of the CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™

The CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™ is engineered to simplify floor cleaning without compromising performance. Think: powerful, efficient cleaning in a single, cordless solution.

In Power Mop Mode, it vacuums and mops simultaneously, picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair while applying the correct amount of cleaning solution for streak-free floors. It easily converts to Power Vac Mode for dedicated vacuuming of dry messes with 75% more suction (Vs CrossWave X7).

It makes the hidden become visible with FurFinder™ Headlights that reveal hair and dust so no mess goes unseen, ZeroGap™ Technology provides edge cleaning that reaches tight spaces along walls, skirting boards and cabinets for a clear before-and-after result. Cordless freedom allows up to 45 minutes of runtime (may vary based on mode and usage) and coverage of up to 350m², letting you move between rooms with ease.

Alongside all this, it features BISSELL hygienic Two-Tank Technology, which separates clean and dirty water, while the tangle-free brush roll prevents hair wrap and clogs, keeping the machine running smoothly. After cleaning, the automatic self-cleaning cycle flushes debris from the brush roll and internal system, making maintenance simple, hygienic and low-effort.

With multi-surface capability for hard floors and area rugs, OmniForce™ EdgeFind™ combines convenience, performance and versatility for busy households that demand visible results.

How to Use the CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™ Step-by-Step

Step 1: Assemble and Charge Before First Use

Before your first clean, firmly insert the handle into the body of the machine until it clicks into place.

Place the CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™  onto the docking station and plug the charger into a power outlet. Ensure the charging icon illuminates, then allow the battery to charge for approximately 3 hours or until it reaches 100%.

Always unplug the charger before moving the machine off the docking station.

Step 2: Fill the Clean Water Tank

Remove the clean water tank from the back of the machine. Unscrew the cap and fill with warm tap water (up to 60°C) to the water fill line (620 mL). Add BISSELL multi-surface cleaning formula to the formula line (88 mL), then securely screw the cap back on.

Slide the tank back into the machine until it clicks into place.

Step 3: Power On and Select Cleaning Mode

Press the power button to turn the machine on.

Select your cleaning mode:

  • Power Vac Mode – Great for dry debris on sealed hard floors and area rugs.

  • Power Mop Mode – Efficiently clean wet and dry messes together.

Step 4: Start Cleaning

Recline the handle to activate the rotating brush roll and automatic cleaning solution dispensing. The machine will begin dispensing solution automatically while reclined, no trigger required.

For best results:

  • Use slow, steady forward and backward strokes

  • Allow up to 15 seconds for the brush roll to fully wet on first use

  • Position the ZeroGap™ Edge Cleaning side against walls or skirting boards to capture debris right up to the edge

The floor surface may remain visibly damp for several minutes after cleaning, which is normal.

Step 5: Maximise Drying with Backward Passes

To help floors dry faster, continue with slow backward passes. The CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™ will extract excess water and debris while maintaining cleaning performance.

Step 6: Monitor the Dirty Water Tank

If the dirty tank is full the machine will beep and display the dirty tank full icon. Empty the tank.

The CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™ is Perfect For

Ideal for households balancing full-time work, family and pets. The CrossWave OmniForce™ EdgeFind™ delivers faster, more efficient cleaning without cords slowing you down. It’s especially well-suited to pet households, helping manage fur, muddy paw prints and food spills in a single pass, keeping floors cleaner with less effort.

It’s also perfect for time-poor homes, where cordless freedom allows cleaning to fit seamlessly into busy routines. Those who value quality in their appliances will appreciate the visible, professional-grade results, research-backed performance and proof-led design that make everyday cleaning simpler and more satisfying.

Maintenance & Care

Emptying the Dirty Water Tank

After each clean, remove and empty the dirty water tank to prevent odours.

To remove the tank, press the button on top of the dirty tank and pull out. Remove the top of the tank by grabbing the lid in the recessed area on either side of the filter to remove.

Clear any debris from the filter and mesh screen, then empty and thoroughly rinse the tank.

Reinstall the lid, then place the bottom of the tank into the machine first. Tilt the tank toward the machine until it clicks securely into place.

Using the Self-Cleaning Cycle

The automatic Self-Cleaning Cycle flushes dirt, hair and debris from the brush roll and internal system and should be used after each cleaning session.

Before starting, ensure the dirty water tank is empty and the filter remains dry. Check that the clean water tank is filled, topping up with water if needed.

Place the machine onto the docking station and plug the charging cable into the outlet. The Self-Cleaning Cycle will only operate while the machine is docked. Press the Clean-Out Cycle button to begin. The cycle runs for approximately 40 seconds.

Once complete, empty the dirty water tank again. For best results, remove the brush roll and place it in the brush roll holder on the docking station to air dry.

Brush Roll Care & Replacement

To maintain optimal cleaning performance, periodically remove the brush roll to clear hair or debris and allow it to dry fully between uses.

Press the brush roll window release and pull the window toward you to remove it. Pull the brush roll tab to lift the brush roll out, then place it in the holder on the docking station to air dry.

To reinstall, insert the right side of the brush roll first, rotate it downward and lock the left tab into place. Reattach the brush roll window by aligning the tabs at the bottom edge of the foot and rotating it toward the machine until it clicks.

After-Cleaning Care

For a deeper clean and longer product life, BISSELL recommends the following after-cleaning routine. First, remove the brush roll window and brush roll and allow the brush roll to air dry completely in the holder. Wipe away any excess water or dirt from the machine body. Empty the dirty water tank and remove the filter from the lid. Open the screen and clear any debris.

Wash the filter in warm water and allow it to dry fully before reinstalling. Filters should be replaced every three months. Rinse the tank lid and float to remove residue and ensure the float moves freely. Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling.

Reinstall the brush roll, filter and tank lid. Insert the bottom of the dirty water tank first, then pivot the top toward the machine until it clicks into place.
