Product Guide: CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum

Bissell CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum

The BISSELL CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum is designed to deliver powerful cleaning performance across carpets, rugs and hard floors without the bulk of a traditional upright vacuum cleaner. Featuring Multi-Cyclonic Technology, this vacuum provides continuous, powerful suction to help lift dust, dirt and debris throughout your home, while its lightweight canister vacuum design makes it easy to manoeuvre around furniture and between rooms.

Built for busy households looking for powerful everyday cleaning, the CleanView Turbo combines strong suction with practical features like dedicated turbine floor tools for carpets and hard floors, an Easy EmptyTM Dirt Tank and a telescopic extension wand for hard-to-reach areas. Below, we'll explore the key features of the BISSELL CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum, explain how to use it step-by-step and share some simple maintenance tips to help keep it performing at its best.

Key Features of the CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum

The CleanView Turbo combines powerful suction, specialised floor tools and a lightweight design to make everyday cleaning easier. At the heart of the machine is bagless Multi-Cyclonic Technology, which helps maintain continuous airflow and powerful suction while reducing dust buildup within the filtration system. This allows the vacuum to deliver reliable cleaning performance across multiple floor types.

One of the strongest features of the CleanView Turbo is its dedicated turbine floor tools for both carpets and hard floors. These air-driven brush rolls help loosen and lift some of the toughest dirt, dust and debris more effectively than standard floor tools, making them ideal for homes with a mix of flooring surfaces.

Next, the Easy EmptyTM Dirt Tank makes disposal quick and hygienic. With a simple bottom-release design, collected dirt and debris can be emptied directly into the bin while minimising contact with dust. The large 2.2-litre dirt tank capacity also allows for longer cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied.

With a powerful 2000W motor, the CleanView Turbo is lightweight at just 4.6kg. Combined with swivel steering, a 1.5-metre hose, telescopic extension wand and 5.5-metre power cord, the vacuum is easy to manoeuvre around furniture, into corners and throughout larger living spaces. The included crevice tool and dusting brush further extend its versatility, allowing you to clean skirting boards, furniture, shelves and other above-floor surfaces with ease.

How to Use the CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum

Step 1: Assembly

As a note before you start, make sure you don’t plug in your vacuum until you have fully assembled the machine and reviewed all safety instructions. Begin by inserting the handle into the top of the extension wand until it clicks securely into place. Next, connect the hose to the vacuum body and push firmly until you hear a click. Attach your desired floor tool to the bottom of the extension wand and make sure it sits snug and secure.

To adjust the wand length, press the extension button and pull the telescopic wand to your preferred height. The accessory clip can be attached to the handle for convenient tool storage, while the floor tool can be parked on the rear of the vacuum when not in use. If using one of the included turbine floor tools, simply attach the extension wand directly to the desired tool until it locks securely into position.

Step 2: Power On and Select Your Floor Type

Pull out the power cord and plug the vacuum into a nearby power outlet. Before operating the machine, ensure the dirt container is securely installed and all pre-motor and post-motor filters are correctly fitted.

Press the power button to switch the vacuum on. The floor tool can be used across both carpets and hard floors. For hard floor cleaning, keep the floor tool pedal in the raised position to lower the brush bar. For carpet cleaning, press the pedal down to retract the brush bar and maximise suction performance.

Some delicate carpets, including certain frieze-style carpets, may be sensitive to rotating brush rolls, so always check the manufacturer's recommendations for your surface before use.

Step 3: Clean Above-Floor Surfaces

The CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum includes tools designed to easily clean above-floor surfaces. For corners, skirting boards and narrow gaps, attach the crevice tool to the handle end until secure. To clean shelves, furniture, blinds and other delicate surfaces, attach the dusting brush instead. The telescopic wand and flexible hose provide additional reach, making it easier to clean stairs, upholstery and hard-to-reach areas throughout the home.

Step 4: Turn Off and Store the Vacuum

Once cleaning is complete, press the power button to switch the vacuum off and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Press the cord rewind button to automatically retract the cable into the vacuum for neat and convenient storage. Store the vacuum indoors in a dry location and park the floor tool on the rear of the machine when not in use.

The CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum is Perfect For...

The CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum is an excellent choice for households that need powerful suction across multiple floor types. Homes with a combination of carpets, rugs and hard flooring will benefit from the included turbine floor tools, which help lift embedded dirt and dust more effectively while adapting to different surfaces throughout the home.

For apartments, townhouses and homes where storage space is limited, the compact design offers convenient storage while still providing the power and capacity needed for whole-home cleaning. Swivel steering and the compact body make it easy to move around furniture, through hallways and between rooms with minimal effort. The CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum is also well-suited to families and pet owners who need reliable everyday cleaning.

Care and Maintenance

Like with all quality machines in your home, some light, regular maintenance helps keep your CleanView Turbo Canister Vacuum performing at its best while maintaining strong suction and airflow. Always ensure all filters are completely dry and properly installed before operating the machine. Beyond that, follow these steps routinely:

Emptying the Dirt Container

For best performance, empty the dirt container regularly and whenever it approaches the maximum fill level.

To empty the tank, press the dirt container release button and lift the container away from the vacuum using the handle. Hold the container over a rubbish bin and press the release button on the rear of the tank to open the bottom door and release the collected dirt and debris. Once emptied, close the bottom door securely and reinstall the dirt container onto the vacuum body until it clicks back into place.

Cleaning the Filters

Keeping the filters clean helps maintain strong suction and efficient airflow. Always allow all washable components to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling them.

Cleaning the Pre-Motor Filters

Remove the dirt container from the machine and twist the top section counter-clockwise before lifting it away. Remove the cyclone assembly from inside the dirt container. Disassemble the cyclone system by twisting it counter-clockwise to separate the three sections: the primary cyclone, mesh filter frame and primary separator. The cyclone components can be rinsed thoroughly with clean water and left to air dry.

Next, remove the foam and pleated filters from the pre-motor filter assembly. Rinse both filters under clean running water and allow them to dry completely before reassembly.

Cleaning the Post-Motor Filter

To access the post-motor filter, press the release button located on the rear of the vacuum and open the filter door. Remove the filter and rinse it under clean running water. Again, allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling it and closing the filter door securely.
